EMMANUEL MATHIAS: TOGOLESE DEFENDER LOANED TO ZESCO FROM ZAMBIA
Emmanuel Mathias, feeling short of opportunities at Mamelodi Sundowns since joining in July 2013, has opted for a move to Zambia. The Togolese defender secured a 6-month loan deal to ZESCO United from the South African club.
In his debut for ZESCO United, Mathias wore the number 19 jersey and played a key role in their 3-1 victory over Nchanga Rangers last Saturday. He didn’t waste any time integrating into his new team.
Accompanying Mathias to Zambia is his former teammate from Mamelodi Sundowns, Hichani Himoonde.
