Egyptian powerhouse are set to tie defender Rami Rabia at the club following his outstanding performance.
Rami’s current contract expire in June 2025 and report emanating from Egypt suggest the club’s handlers are poised to tie the defender down.
The 31-year-old has almost spent his playing career at Al Ahly. Rami has been with the club since 2015, establishing himself as a key cog to the team.
Having agreed a two-year contract extension, the highly-rated defender will in the coming days put pen to paper.
The new contract will keep Rami Rabia at the club until the summer of 2027.
He has made 10 appearances across competitions for Al Ahly this season, scoring two goals for the team.
Al Ahly will ow turn their attention to Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed El-Shennawy, Akram Tawfik and Percy Tau, whose contract expires at the end of the campaign.
Meanwhile, it is said South African Percy Tau has rejected a contract termination from Al Ahly.
