Dutch-Nigerian forward Joshua Zirkzee reportedly offered to struggling West Ham
Dutch forward of Nigerian descent, Joshua Zirkzee, has reportedly been offered to struggling English Premier League side West Ham United.
The 24-year-old forward has struggled for game time this season, making just five substitute appearances across all competitions and playing a total of 90 minutes. He is yet to register a goal or assist.
Zirkzee, who joined Manchester United from Bologna in the summer of 2024 amid high expectations, endured a challenging debut campaign as the club experienced a turbulent season.
His prospects have further diminished this term following the arrivals of Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha, increasing competition in the attacking department.
According to Franco-Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Zirkzee is seeking a move in the upcoming January transfer window in pursuit of regular playing time and to boost his chances of earning a place in the Netherlands squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The forward is keen to remain in the Premier League, and West Ham United are reportedly closely monitoring his situation after being offered the player.
