CS Sfaxien has been knocked out of the Tunisian Cup after a surprising 1-0 defeat to Union Ben Guerdane in the Round of 16 on Sunday.

Despite dominating possession throughout the match, CS Sfaxien struggled to break down the well-organized defense of Union Ben Guerdane.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, with Union Ben Guerdane holding strong defensively.

However, the game took a dramatic turn in the 80th minute when Ghazi Abdelrazak of Union Ben Guerdane scored the only goal of the match from a corner kick.

CS Sfaxien tried to push forward in the remaining minutes, hoping for an equalizer, but their efforts were in vain as Union Ben Guerdane secured a 1-0 victory, sending CS Sfaxien out of the competition.

In other Tunisian Cup action, Stade Tunisien advanced to the quarterfinals with a 2-0 victory over Shabab Manouba.

Ghazi Ayadi opened the scoring in the 29th minute, followed by a second goal from Youssef Saifi in the 40th minute to seal the win for Tunisian Club.
