Ceramica Cleopatra is on the verge of making a major midfield addition, with Amr El Solia just one step away from joining the club as a free agent.
The experienced midfielder recently parted ways with Al Ahly after the club chose not to renew his contract.
A source close to the player told Kooora that an agreement was reached between El Solia and Ceramica’s management in the last few hours. The deal is nearly complete, with just one hurdle left to clear before it becomes official.
“The contracts will be officially signed this evening, but there remains one point of contention: Ceramica wants the contract to be for one season, while Amr El Solia wants two,” the source said.
Despite the contract length disagreement, El Solia is eager to take on this new challenge. After a successful run with Al Ahly, he now looks set to bring his experience and leadership to Ceramica’s midfield as they prepare for the upcoming season.
