Carlos Mane extends stay at Kayserispor until 2026
Guinea-Bissau international Carlos Manuel Cardoso Mane has committed to two more years at Turkish club Kayserispor, with an option for an additional year. This decision comes after Mane’s impressive performances since joining the club in August 2021.
Carlos Mane, who joined Kayserispor on a three-year contract in 2021, has accepted an extension that will keep him at the club until at least June 2026.
The Lisbon-born winger has proven to be a valuable asset for Kayserispor, contributing significantly to the team’s efforts to remain competitive in the Turkish Super Lig.
Mane’s performance over the past season has been notable, with the 30-year-old scoring five goals and providing three assists in 27 appearances across all competitions.
His contributions were pivotal in helping Kayserispor secure their position in the Super Lig.
Under the guidance of head coach Burak Yilmaz, Mane has become an integral part of the team’s strategy and success.
As his contract neared its expiration on June 30, Mane had several options on the table.
His strong performance had attracted interest from other Turkish clubs, including Gaziantep, who were preparing to make offers once he became a free agent.
Despite these opportunities, Mane chose to continue his journey with Kayserispor, influenced by his pivotal role in the team and the club’s ambitious plans.
With his contract extension finalized, Mane is set to rejoin his teammates for pre-season preparations starting on July 4.
This early start aims to build on the previous season’s successes and integrate new strategies for the forthcoming campaign.
The decision to stay reflects Mane’s confidence in the club’s vision and his desire to contribute further to their goals.
Carlos Mane’s career began at Sporting Lisbon, where he developed his skills before moving to play in Germany for Union Berlin and Stuttgart.
His versatility and experience have made him a valuable player in various leagues, and his tenure at Kayserispor has further solidified his reputation as a reliable and skilled winger.
In conclusion, Carlos Mane’s decision to extend his stay at Kayserispor highlights his commitment to the club and his belief in their future prospects.
His contributions will continue to be crucial as the team prepares for the challenges of the upcoming season, aiming to build on their achievements and strive for higher goals in the Turkish Super Lig.
