Canal SC agree season-long loan for Enppi left-back Mohab Sami

Al Qanah have reached an agreement with El Sharkia Enppi to sign left-back Mohab Sami on loan for the coming Egyptian Premier League season.

The deal will run for one season and does not include an option for Al Qanah to make the transfer permanent at its conclusion, according to FilGoal.com.

Sami spent last season with Enppi, making 12 appearances across all competitions and scoring once. He will now move to Al Qanah as the club prepares for its return to the Egyptian Premier League.

The agreement covers a temporary transfer only. There is no clause allowing Al Qanah to buy the player at the end of the loan, meaning Sami is due to return to El Sharkia Enppi once the season is complete unless a further arrangement is reached.

Al Qanah secured promotion to the Egyptian Premier League for the upcoming campaign. Its first match in the competition will be against Ceramica Cleopatra.

Sami’s arrival gives the promoted club an additional option at left-back ahead of its opening fixture. His previous season included appearances in 12 matches in all competitions, with one goal recorded during his time with Enppi.

The move comes after Enppi and El Sharkia were merged, with the club subsequently taking the name El Sharkia Enppi. Sami’s loan has therefore been agreed with the newly named club for the duration of the next league season.

The agreement was reported on Monday, 10 August 2026. It was written by Amr Nabil and published at 23:10.

Al Qanah’s opening-day meeting with Ceramica Cleopatra will be the first fixture identified for the club in its return to the Egyptian Premier League. Sami’s season-long loan has been completed before that campaign begins, although the agreement does not give Al Qanah control over his future beyond the loan period.
