According to a source close to the Ministry of Sports and Leisure of Togo, Féguifoot officials have withdrawn from the fixture, citing reasons that remain undisclosed. Consequently, the Junior Sparrowhawks have advanced to the second round of qualifiers.
In the upcoming round, the junior Togo team will face Morocco. The first leg of this encounter is set to take place on May 11 in Lomé, with the return leg scheduled for May 25.
Having been accommodated in a hotel in Agoe since Monday, a town on the outskirts of Lomé, the capital of Togo, Adam Fazazi’s team will be released on Thursday. Additionally, they are set to participate in a friendly match against another first division team on Sunday.
