Cameroon intensify recruitment drive for dual-national talent under David Pagou

Cameroon’s football federation, FECAFOOT, has stepped up its efforts to recruit a new wave of dual-national players based in Europe and the Middle East as it looks to strengthen the squad available to coach David Pagou.

According to information reported by @JoueursCMR via @Nathan__Foot, the governing body is actively targeting several emerging prospects with Cameroonian eligibility, with the aim of broadening the talent pool and raising competition for places.

Among the leading names on FECAFOOT’s shortlist are Lucas Noubi of Deportivo La Coruna and Valentin Atangana, who plays for Al-Ahli. Both players are understood to be under particularly close observation as potential additions to Pagou’s set-up.

Pagou’s technical staff are also keeping a close watch on a pair of players at Parma, Sascha Britschgi and Nesta Elphege. Their profiles are considered especially appealing because of their potential and perceived room for development.
