The stage is set for a Moroccan showdown in the CAF Champions League semi-finals, as AS FAR prepare to host Renaissance Berkane on April 11, with the return leg scheduled for April 18.

The tie promises to deliver an all-Moroccan final in Africa’s most prestigious club competition.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) refereeing committee has announced the officiating team for the first leg at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex.

Mauritanian referee Dahane Bida will take charge of the match, assisted by Angolan Gerson Emiliano dos Santos as first assistant and Cameroonian Elvis Guy Noupoue Nguegoue as second assistant.

Video Assistant Referee duties will be handled by Tunisian official Heith Guirat, with Daniel Lagui assisting from the VAR booth.

For the return leg at the Municipal Stadium on April 18, the Gabonese referee Pierre Atcho has been appointed to lead the proceedings, ensuring both legs are overseen by top officials from across the continent.

This semi-final promises intense action, with the winner set to claim a coveted place in the Champions League final and continue Morocco’s dominance in African club football.
