CAF Confederation Cup: CO Korhogo lead AS PSI at half-time in crucial first-round tie

CO Korhogo hold a 1-0 lead over Chad’s AS PSI at half-time in the decisive second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round tie.

The Ivorian side have controlled the opening period at Stade Amadou Gon Coulibaly, with Dao Lassina’s team protecting their advantage effectively.

Midfielder Adje Laurent Sandani scored the only goal of the half, putting CO Korhogo ahead after 12 minutes and sparking celebrations among the Poro supporters.

The result leaves CO Korhogo in a strong position to progress to the second round. Combined with the 2-2 draw in the first leg, their narrow half-time lead means they are provisionally on course to qualify.
