Austria-South Africa right-back Christopher Olivier of Stuttgart II has been linked with a summer move to Danish Superliga side Brondby IF.

The 20-year-old defender, who stands at 1.87m and wears number 24 for the 3. Liga club, is the subject of speculation after reports in Germany and Denmark highlighted Brondbys interest. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at 1.20m, with the rumour logged on 5 July 2026 and the probability of a deal still marked as unknown (?).

Oliviers contractual situation at Stuttgart II has not been made public, and no expiry date is recorded, prompting talk that Brondby could attempt either a relatively low-fee transfer or position themselves should he move closer to free-agent status. For now, there is no indication an agreement has been reached between the clubs.

Born on 31 January 2006 in Au, Olivier holds both Austrian and South African nationality. A right-footed specialist at right-back, he has progressed steadily through Stuttgarts youth system since arriving from Austrias AKA Vorarlberg set-up in 2022. He moved from VfB Stuttgart U17 to the U19s in 2023, before stepping up to Stuttgart II on 1 July 2024.

His rise has been mirrored by a sharp increase in valuation. Oliviers market value with Stuttgart II climbed from 400,000 in September 2024 to 500,000 by the end of that year, remaining stable through 2025 before doubling to 1m in March 2026 and then reaching 1.20m at the end of May. That trajectory has underpinned interest from clubs outside Germany.

In his most recent outing for Stuttgart II in the 3. Liga, a 2-1 win against [opponent not specified in data] on July 5, 2026, Olivier featured at right-back and completed the full 90 minutes, underlining his status as a regular at second-team level.

Having developed in Austria with FC Au Youth and the AKA Vorarlberg age groups before moving to Germany, a switch to Denmark would mark a third country in his club career. If Brondby do formalise their interest and a move materialises, it would offer Olivier an early test of his potential in a top-flight European league and a significant step in shaping his reputation beyond the German lower tiers.
