Bridges Loumouamou switches to FR Haguenau in National 1 free move

French-Congolese left-back Bridges Loumouamou has joined FR Haguenau from Thionville Lus. on a free transfer, strengthening the National 1 – Grp. A club’s defensive options.

Loumouamou, 28, has returned to Haguenau after spending the 2025-26 season with Thionville Lus., who competed in Ligue 3. His move back to FR Haguenau represents another change of club in a career spent entirely in French football.

The defender originally joined FR Haguenau from FCOSK 06 in July 2023, before leaving for Thionville Lus. two years later. He now resumes his association with Haguenau, having previously made the same switch on a free transfer.

A naturally left-footed player, Loumouamou operates at left-back and is listed at 1.82m. His French and Congolese nationality gives him an international background, although no national-team appearances are recorded alongside his club career.

The transfer comes at the beginning of the 2026-27 campaign. FR Haguenau are competing in National 1 – Grp. A, while Thionville Lus. are listed in Ligue 3, meaning Loumouamou has moved from one French league level to another as he returns to his former club.

His career began with Epinal’s under-19 side before he progressed to Epinal B. He later played for AS Menora, Vauban Strasbourg and FCOSK 06, with each move preceding his first spell at FR Haguenau.

Loumouamou joined FR Haguenau on 28 August 2026, completing the free transfer from Thionville Lus.
