Joachim Löw, the coach of the German national team, remains optimistic about Sami Khedira’s participation in the upcoming World Cup despite the midfielder’s serious knee injury last November.
Khedira, who plays for both Real Madrid and the German national team, has been sidelined since his injury. While he has recently resumed running and is progressing in his recovery, it’s uncertain if he will return to the field before the end of the season, casting doubt on his availability for the World Cup.
However, Löw has expressed confidence in Khedira’s determination and work ethic, stating, “I have a very favorable feeling because I know how hard he works to get back into shape.”
