Brahim Diaz buzzing after reaching 150 appearances as a Real Madrid player
Moroccan international Brahim Díaz has reached a notable milestone in his career after making his 150th appearance for Real Madrid CF during the team’s 4-1 victory over Elche CF in La Liga.
The attacking midfielder marked the occasion by featuring in the match, adding another significant chapter to his journey with the Spanish giants.
Speaking about the achievement, Díaz expressed his pride at reaching the landmark with the Madrid club.
“It’s an amazing record with the best club in the world. It’s a dream for me to continue playing for Real Madrid,” he said.
The Moroccan player explained that he enjoys the freedom he has on the pitch, which allows him to contribute in different areas of the field.
“I try to play everywhere and move freely, and things are going well, and I am happy about that and about reaching 150 matches,” he added.
In a statement published on the club’s official website, Díaz also emphasised the importance of the victory over Elche and the team’s ambition to keep winning.
“The Elche match was very important. We had to continue winning and make our fans happy, and compete for all available titles,” he said.
Reflecting on the performance, the midfielder praised the collective effort shown by the squad and highlighted the contribution of younger players within the team.
“I am very happy with the victory and with the effort made by the team and the commitment on the field. I also thank the young players who are performing brilliantly and helping us a lot,” Diaz added.
