Bournemouth refuse to sell French-Ivorian striker Junior Kroupi amid interest from Premier League giants
AFC Bournemouth are reportedly determined to keep highly rated striker Junior Kroupi despite growing interest from several top Premier League clubs.
According to reports, Manchester City, Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC and Manchester United are all closely monitoring the young forward following his impressive performances this season.
However, Bournemouth are said to have no intention of allowing the player to leave during the upcoming transfer window. Club officials reportedly view Kroupi as a key part of their long-term project and believe they are in a strong position to resist interest from bigger clubs.
The Cherries are understood to be relaxed over the situation because the striker’s contract does not contain a release clause, giving the club full control over his future.
Kroupi joined Bournemouth from FC Lorient in 2025 for a reported fee of £10 million and has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young attackers in the Premier League.
Reports also suggest the 19-year-old is settled on the South Coast, while Bournemouth are considering offering him an improved contract to reward his rapid development and growing importance to the squad.
The club reportedly believes the value of the striker could rise significantly if he continues progressing at his current rate, making any potential transfer unlikely before at least 2027.
Kroupi has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals in 30 appearances to attract attention from some of England’s biggest clubs.
