Joel Ben Anosike makes Sar. Anavyssos switch after Aias Salamina departure

Greek-Nigerian winger Joel Ben Anosike has joined Sar. Anavyssos from Aias Salamina on a free transfer, completing his latest move in Greek football.

The 20-year-old left winger moved to his new club on 5 September 2026 and has a contract running until 30 June 2027. Ben Anosike is predominantly deployed on the left side of attack and is right-footed.

Ben Anosike arrives after spending the first part of the 2025-26 season with Aias Salamina. He joined that club from Amarynthiakos on 9 January 2026, also on a free transfer, before making the move to Sar. Anavyssos ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

His most recent recorded campaign included 23 appearances in the Super League U19, where he scored four goals and provided one assist. He also played once in the Kypello Amateur, completing 82 minutes in the competition.

The winger previously joined Amarynthiakos from Kallithea U19 in August 2025. Before his spell with Kallithea’s under-19 side, he had been with AO Gyziakos, giving him a series of club moves during his development in Greece.

Ben Anosike, who was born on 24 July 2006, stands 1.81 metres tall. His move to Sar. Anavyssos represents his third club change since the start of 2025-26, following his switches from Amarynthiakos to Aias Salamina and now to his new side.

The free transfer was completed on 5 September, with Ben Anosike’s agreement at Sar. Anavyssos set to run through June 2027.
