Italian outfit Bologna have rejected a €30 million offer from Nottingham Forest to sign Swiss attacker of Senegalese descent, Dan Ndoye.
The 24-year-old attacker has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Forest on a five-year contract and is eager to make the move to England.
However, Bologna remain firm in their valuation, demanding €50 million to part ways with one of their standout players.
Ndoye enjoyed a stellar 2023/24 season, racking up nine goals and six assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. He also scored the winning goal in the Coppa Italia final, further boosting his profile as one of Serie A’s most dynamic attacking threats.
Nottingham Forest are actively searching for a replacement for Anthony Elanga, who recently made a £55 million switch to Newcastle United. With Napoli also circling, the race for Ndoye’s signature is heating up fast.
Despite Bologna’s push to extend his current contract, which runs until 2027, Ndoye appears ready for a new challenge. Forest are expected to return with an improved offer in the coming days as they attempt to secure a deal for the Swiss international.
Ndoye hopes an agreement can be reached between the two clubs for his move to the English Premier League to materialise.
