Bilal Brahimi swaps Viborg for Pau FC in Ligue 2 move
French-Moroccan winger Bilal Brahimi has joined Pau FC from Danish club Viborg FF, completing a move that takes the 26-year-old back to France. The right winger has signed a contract with Pau running until 30 June 2029.
Brahimi arrives at the Ligue 2 club after one season with Viborg, whom he joined from SM Caen in September 2025. He made five appearances in the Superliga during the 2026-27 campaign, playing 156 minutes without scoring or registering an assist.
The Villepinte-born player began his senior career with Le Havre B after progressing through youth football at Troyes and Montfermeil. He moved to USL Dunkerque in July 2021 before joining Caen a year later in a €700,000 transfer.
Brahimi spent three seasons with Caen before switching to Viborg, where he continued his career outside France. His return to the French game now brings him to Pau, who compete in Ligue 2.
A left-footed player who operates on the right side of attack, Brahimi is listed at 1.75m and adds experience from both French and Danish football to Pau’s squad. His move was completed on 31 August 2026, with his new deal keeping him at the club through the end of the 2028-29 season.
Brahimi has therefore left Viborg FF after a year in Denmark and signed for Pau FC on a contract lasting until June 2029.
