This weekend, two Burkinabe footballers, Sacha Bansé and Issoufou Dayo, showcased their talent with notable performances across Europe and Africa.
In Germany, Sacha Bansé marked a personal milestone by scoring his first goal for Greuther Fürth.
Coming off the bench in the 80th minute against Karlsruhe in the 2. Bundesliga, Bansé made an immediate impact by finding the back of the net just two minutes later.
Unfortunately, despite his efforts, Fürth was defeated 3-2 on home soil.
The goal, however, highlighted Bansé’s potential as an attacking threat and solidified his growing importance to the team.
Meanwhile, Issoufou Dayo made his mark in Morocco with Renaissance Sportive de Berkane.
The central defender played a pivotal role in his team’s 2-1 victory over Hassania Agadir.
Dayo opened the scoring just before halftime with a penalty in the 45+5′ minute.
Though the visitors equalized early in the second half, Dayo responded in the dying moments of the game, scoring the winner in the 89th minute after a precise assist from Ayoub Kairi.
His performance earned his team a crucial three points and further demonstrated his value to Berkane’s defensive and offensive strategies.
Both Bansé and Dayo have continued to excel, showcasing their talent and proving to be vital players for their respective clubs.
