Bakary Konaté is being linked with a move from Ukrainian side Kryvbas Kryvyi Rig to Israeli club Maccabi Netanya, according to transfer data compiled on 5 February 2026.
The 22-year-old Mali centre-back, currently valued at €800,000, has emerged as a potential defensive target for the Ligat ha’Al outfit, with his name appearing in the latest rumour listings connecting the Premier Liga club and Maccabi Netanya. No fee, contract details or timeframe have been reported, and the probability of the move is listed only as “?”, underlining that discussions – if any – remain at an early and uncertain stage.
Konaté is under contract at Kryvbas, but with no public information on the length of his deal or expiry date, analysts have noted the possibility that he could be approaching a phase where a future free transfer cannot be ruled out. His rising valuation – which has climbed from €50,000 at Vilaverdense FC in September 2023 to €800,000 at Kryvbas by December 2025 – reflects a rapid development curve that may be drawing interest from abroad.
Since arriving at Kryvbas from Portuguese side Vilaverdense FC in July 2024, the Bamako-born defender has continued the progression that began in Portugal with Vilaverdense’s under-19s and a loan spell at SC Salgueiros.
