Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that Mohamed Salah will recover from his injury before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“As we know, Salah always gives his all, whether he is fit or injured, striving to return. He is usually fitter than others, so we expect him to return in the latter part of the season, not tomorrow. We are always pleased that his injury is minor enough to allow him to play with us and in the 2026 World Cup,” he said.
Liverpool will travel to Old Trafford for the highly anticipated fixture, with both sides locked in a tight battle for UEFA Champions League qualification.
United currently sit third with 61 points, while Liverpool trail closely in fourth with 58, adding even greater significance to the encounter.
