Antoine Semenyo targets more Manchester City silverware

Antoine Semenyo says “the world is our oyster” after another standout display in Manchester City’s 4-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Liverpool, insisting this team is nowhere near finished collecting trophies.

The forward, who joined from Bournemouth in January and has quickly become a fan favourite, scored one and assisted another in a dominant performance that underlined City’s hunger after their recent Carabao Cup triumph.

“Feels amazing. The team played really well today. We wanted to continue from the Carabao Cup final and we carried on today,” he told TNT Sports.

“We said from the final once we are back we wanted to score goals, defend as a team and we did that perfectly today,” Semenyo added, praising the collective focus in a side already bursting with title-winning experience.

The Ghanaian international highlighted how smoothly he has slotted into Pep Guardiola’s attack.

“Everyone has made it easy for me. When I get the ball I try to do my thing and I’m in the right places at the right time,” he said, a reflection of both his instant impact and the confidence flowing through this City squad as they chase more silverware on multiple fronts.
