Amr Warda, the player for Panserraikos, has put an end to his goal drought in the Greek league by scoring for his team in a match against Asteras Tripolis on Sunday evening, in the 26th round of the Greek league.
Warda secured the lead for his team with a penalty kick in the 45th minute of the first half, before Asteras equalized through Nicholas Kaltsas in the 45+6th minute, bringing the first half to a draw.
This goal marks Warda’s second in the Greek league, following his previous goal for his team in a match against PAS Lamia on January 13th, seven full rounds ago.
The Egyptian player has now scored a total of 34 goals in the Greek league, representing five different clubs including PAOK, Panetolikos, Atromitos, Larissa, and Volos.
Earlier in the current season, Warda terminated his contract with Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, then had a brief stint with Farco that ended swiftly after only a few minutes of play in one Egyptian league match.
