Amine Harit and Hamed Abdelli fire Marseille to first Ligue 1 win in four games

Amine Harit and Hamed Abdelli scored as Marseille beat Troyes 2-0 to claim their first Ligue 1 victory in four matches.

Marseille moved on to six points and 13th place in the table, while Troyes remain on four points in 17th.

Harit opened the scoring in the 50th minute, finishing from inside the penalty area after his shot took a deflection off the Troyes goalkeeper before finding the net.

Abdelli then secured the points for Marseille by converting a penalty in the eighth minute of stoppage time.

The result ended Marseille’s run of four consecutive Ligue 1 matches without a win and put them back on the path to victory.

It was Harit’s first Ligue 1 goal since 20 October 2024, when he scored against Montpellier.

Marseille also scored twice away from home in a competitive match for the first time since 31 January 2026, when they registered two goals against Paris FC.

The victory was Marseille’s first away win by a margin of at least two goals since 17 January 2026, when they defeated Angers 5-2 in Ligue 1.
