Amine Adli scores late as Bournemouth beat Leeds United 2-0

Amine Adli scored his first Premier League goal of the season in the fifth minute of added time as Bournemouth secured a 2-0 victory over Leeds United on Saturday.

The Morocco international, who came on as a substitute in the 88th minute, sealed the points for the hosts with the final significant action of the match.

Bournemouth had taken the lead in the 31st minute after a mistake by Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford when attempting to take a goal-kick. The ball fell to Justin Kluivert, who set up Evanilson for a straightforward finish.

Leeds attempted to find a way back into the game, but Bournemouth protected their advantage before Adli delivered the decisive blow at 90+5.

The goal took Adli’s total to three for Bournemouth in all competitions this season. He had previously scored against Milan in the Europa League and Aston Villa in the English League Cup, before adding his first Premier League goal against Leeds United.

The result extended Bournemouth’s winning run to six matches in all competitions. They have also kept a clean sheet in each of those victories.

Bournemouth moved on to 12 points and into seventh place in the Premier League table, while Leeds United remain on 11 points in ninth.
