Amara Laghdef: Moroccan winger joins CD Tenerife B on free transfer
Moroccan left winger Amara Laghdef has joined CD Tenerife B on a free transfer from Irun B, signing a contract with the Spanish club’s reserve side until 30 June 2028.
The 21-year-old, who was born in Casablanca and prefers to play off the left flank on his favoured left foot, moves across Spain after spending the 2025-26 season with Irun B. The deal sees him continue his development in the Segunda Federacion Group IV, where Tenerife’s B team compete.
Laghdef arrives at Tenerife B after two consecutive free transfers in his early senior career. He first left Moroccan side Raja Casablanca’s youth system in 2025, when he moved from the club’s reserve team to Irun B, and now makes the step to the Canary Islands outfit a year later.
Before heading to Spain, Laghdef progressed through the ranks at Raja Casablanca, advancing from the Raja youth teams to the club’s under-19s in 2021 and then into the reserve side in 2023. His move to Tenerife B marks his second club in Spanish football and his first in the country’s national league structure.
By committing to a deal through to the summer of 2028, Laghdef becomes a long-term addition to CD Tenerife B’s attacking options on the left wing.
