Tunisian international midfielder, Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane, has put an end to recent transfer speculations by affirming his commitment to Hungarian club Ferencváros. Contrary to insistent rumors linking him to Egypt’s Al Ahly, the 24-year-old has clarified that he remains under contract with Ferencváros for the foreseeable future.
Addressing the swirling rumors, Ben Romdhane categorically stated, “I am still under contract with Ferencváros.”
With two years left on his current deal, the midfielder emphasized his unwavering focus on contributing to the success of his current team in the upcoming seasons.
Dismissive of claims connecting him with Al Ahly, Ben Romdhane refuted reports suggesting he had signed a four-year contract with the Egyptian club.
The Tunisian international, boasting 36 caps and one goal for his country, clarified that he has had no contact with Al Ahly and remains fully committed to his obligations with Ferencváros.
The midfielder’s declaration comes amid recent speculation that hinted at a potential move to Al Ahly. Despite facing a period of decline, Ben Romdhane has experienced a resurgence in form since recovering from injury.
In the 28 matches he has played across various competitions, he managed to score one goal and deliver six assists.
