Ali Badra Diabate: Al-Qadsiah linked with Samsunspor defender
Ivory Coast centre-back Ali Badra Diabate is the subject of a reported transfer link from Samsunspor to Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah.
The 19-year-old defender joined Samsunspor from Leader Sporting on 2 January 2026 in a €100,000 move and has since established a place in the Turkish club’s squad. He has made two appearances in the Super Lig this season, starting 67% of Samsunspor’s possible league matches and playing 67% of the available minutes.
Diabate is left-footed and stands 1.90m, with his current role focused at centre-back. His early involvement comes after a short spell with Jong Genk, where he had been on loan from Leader Sporting before returning to his parent club at the end of 2025.
A move to Al-Qadsiah would take Diabate from Turkey’s top flight to the Saudi Pro League, but the rumour has not been presented as a completed transfer. No probability or proposed fee has been established for the move.
Diabate remains under contract at Samsunspor until 30 June 2029, leaving the Turkish club with a long-term agreement in place as interest from Al-Qadsiah is monitored.
