Algerian forward Mohamed Amoura set for possible summer transfer battle
Algerian international Mohamed Amoura is expected to be one of the names at the centre of attention in the upcoming summer transfer window, with several clubs across Europe reportedly monitoring his situation.
The striker, who currently plays for VfL Wolfsburg, has attracted interest from teams in England, Germany and France following a steady run of performances in the Bundesliga and on the international stage.
Speaking to Maghreb-Foot, Amoura’s agent confirmed that there are already formal offers on the table from clubs in three of Europe’s major leagues, underlining the growing demand for the forward.
“What I can say at the moment regarding the future of Mohamed Amine Amoura is that there are official offers from clubs active in three leagues: the German league, the English league and the French league,” the agent said.
Despite confirming widespread interest, the agent declined to identify the clubs involved, suggesting that discussions remain at an early stage and are being kept confidential.
Amoura’s representative also made clear that the player is expected to move within one of the three leagues mentioned, although no final decision has yet been made.
“Amoura will play in one of these three leagues, but as for the names of the clubs that want him, it is not possible to talk about the names of the teams involved at the moment,” he added.
The 26-year-old has continued to build his reputation this season, registering eight goals and four assists in 30 appearances across all competitions for Wolfsburg.
His performances have contributed to his growing profile in European football.
Amoura is under contract with the German club until June 2029 and is currently valued at around €27 million on Transfermarkt. He earns an annual salary of approximately €4.72 million.
With interest building from multiple top leagues, the coming months are expected to be decisive in determining the next step in the Algerian forward’s career as clubs prepare for a competitive summer transfer market.
