Al Masry SC strengthen attack with Eritrean forward Ali Sulieman Ibrahim
Al Masry SC have signed Eritrean forward Ali Sulieman Ibrahim from Kahraba Ismailia on a four-year contract, keeping the 26-year-old at the Egyptian club until 2030.
The move was confirmed by Al Masry SC on the club’s official Instagram account and sees Ibrahim arrive after a productive season in which he scored 16 goals. The transfer fee is €260,000.
Ibrahim, who can operate either as a winger or as a centre-forward, has agreed terms that will link him with Al Masry SC for the next four years. His versatility gives the club another attacking option, with the Eritrean able to contribute from a wide position or lead the line.
The player joins from Kahraba Ismailia following his successful campaign, which ended with 16 goals. Al Masry SC have secured his services through to 2030, making the move a long-term addition to their squad.
Ibrahim’s market value is estimated at €800,000 by Transfermarkt, a figure higher than the reported €260,000 fee agreed for the transfer. The deal therefore represents a notable move for the Egyptian club as they continue to add to their attacking options.
The signing was one of the latest developments reported in Africafoot’s live football news feed for 17 August 2026. The feed covers transfer rumours, completed deals, records and other stories involving African footballers.
For Ibrahim, the transfer represents a move from Kahraba Ismailia to Al Masry SC after a campaign in which his goalscoring form attracted attention. His ability to play in more than one attacking role is reflected in the description of him as both a winger and a centre-forward.
Al Masry SC, known as the Green Eagles of Port Said, have now committed to the Eritrean forward until 2030. The agreement gives the club a player with a record of 16 goals in his previous season, while Ibrahim begins the next stage of his career in Egypt.
The announcement confirms the completion of the move, rather than a rumour, and establishes the main terms of the deal: Ibrahim’s transfer from Kahraba Ismailia, a four-year contract, a fee of €260,000 and a market valuation of €800,000, according to Transfermarkt.
