Al Masry reach agreement to sign ES Setif midfielder Kheireddine Toual

Al Masry have reached a full agreement to sign Algerian midfielder Kheireddine Toual from ES Setif ahead of the current summer transfer window.

According to information obtained by FilGoal.com, the Port Said club have finalised terms with the player, overcoming rival interest from fellow Egyptian Premier League side National Bank of Egypt, who had previously submitted an offer for his services.

Toual has agreed all financial details with Al Masry and is now waiting for the remaining contractual formalities to be completed before the deal can be officially announced.

The transfer will see the Algerian leave ES Setif after a season in which he became a regular part of their squad.

Career path through Algerian clubs

Toual began his professional career with USM Alger in 2023, making his breakthrough in the Algerian top flight.

In 2024 he left USM Alger to join CRB Ben Aknoun on loan, gaining further first-team experience over the course of that season.

He then moved again on a temporary basis in the summer of 2024, this time joining MC El Bayadh on loan.

In the summer of 2025, Toual completed a switch to ES Setif, one of Algeria’s most prominent clubs.

During his time with ES Setif, Toual made 32 appearances in all competitions.

Across those matches he scored three goals and provided four assists, underlining his ability to contribute both in build-up play and in the final third.

His form with ES Setif helped attract attention from abroad, leading to concrete interest from clubs in Egypt and culminating in his agreement with Al Masry.

The deal, once officially confirmed, will add another Algerian player to the Egyptian Premier League and further extend Toual’s career beyond Algerian domestic football for the first time.
