Poland will compete as hosts, while Italy enter the tournament as defending champions.
The continental qualifiers are:
– Asia: Japan, Iran, South Korea – Africa: Tunisia, Algeria, Cameroon – North America: United States, Canada, Cuba – South America: Brazil, Argentina, Chile – Europe: France, Slovenia, Finland
The remaining places secured through the world rankings have gone to Bulgaria, Germany, Ukraine, Belgium, Turkey, Serbia, Czech Republic, Greece, Romania, Netherlands, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Denmark, Egypt and Estonia.
Egypt will make their 12th appearance at the World Championship and their ninth consecutive appearance in the competition.
