The first football team of Al Ahly returned to training this evening at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium on Al Jazeera Island.
This session marked the end of the players’ rest period following their return from the training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
The training kicked off with a meeting between the coaching staff and the players to discuss the upcoming phase, which holds crucial commitments for the team in the CAF Champions League and the remaining competitions of the current season.
Andreas Endoya, the team’s fitness planner, led various exercises aimed at enhancing the players’ physical condition, aligning with the preparation program devised by the coaching staff for the upcoming period.
The team had recently completed an external training camp in Ajman, UAE, featuring friendly matches against Saudi’s Al-Akhdoud and Hatta from the Emirates.
Al Ahly is gearing up for a pivotal encounter against CR Belouizdad from Algeria, a match scheduled as part of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The coaching staff is focused on refining the team’s form and strategy for this challenging fixture.
