Ajax Amsterdam agree deal to sign Mali international Yves Bissouma

Ajax Amsterdam have reached an agreement in principle to sign Mali international Yves Bissouma as a free agent.

The midfielder, who has been without a club since leaving Tottenham in June, is currently undergoing a medical in the Netherlands. He is expected to sign a two-year contract with the Amsterdam club, keeping him there until June 2027.

The proposed deal also includes an option for a further season, giving Ajax Amsterdam additional flexibility as they strengthen their midfield.

Bissouma brings extensive experience from several seasons playing at the highest level in the Premier League. His arrival is intended to add considerable experience and physical strength to the Ajax midfield.

The Mali international is set to take on a leading role in the centre of the pitch and become the new driving force in Ajax’s play once the move is formally completed.
