Speculation surrounding Ahmed Mustafa Zizo’s potential move to Al Ain has gained momentum, but a source close to the Zamalek midfielder has dismissed reports of an agreement with the Emirati club.
Recent claims suggested that Al Ain had secured Zizou’s services to bolster their squad for the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States. However, the source clarified that no formal deal has been reached.
“Zizou did not agree with Al Ain, and there is no validity to reports of any signed contracts or commitment,” the source told Kooora exclusively.
Zizo, whose contract with Zamalek expires at the end of the season, is free to negotiate with other clubs. Despite this, the source emphasized that Al Ain has not made direct contact with the player or his representatives.
“The offer came through an agent, but there have been no official negotiations or discussions with Al Ain’s management,” the source added.
