Moroccan internationals Achraf Hakimi and Nacer Mazraoui have secured spots in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League with their respective clubs.
Hakimi’s qualification came with Paris Saint-Germain after eliminating Real Sociedad in the round of 16.
PSG won the first leg comfortably with a 2-0 victory at home, and they repeated their success in the away leg with a 2-1 win.
Similarly, Nacer Mazraoui advanced with Bayern Munich, who won the second leg against Italian side Lazio with a convincing 3-0 scoreline, despite losing the first leg in Italy with a narrow 0-1 defeat.
