FC Nantes still has hope of recovering the three points deducted from them in the Abdoulaye Touré affair. The club has filed a summary suspension with the Nantes administrative court, which is set to be examined on April 17. This legal action aims to temporarily restore the three points from Nantes’ victory against Bastia (2-0 on August 10), which were withdrawn by the Professional Football League (LFP) and awarded to Bastia.
In addition to this emergency procedure, FC Nantes has another appeal scheduled for June, contesting the validity of Touré’s suspension. The club argues that the suspension should have been officially notified to them by registered letter.
