Tomorrow, Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea will clash in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, with Laurent Blanc’s side facing significant pressure at Stamford Bridge.
Ahead of this crucial encounter, Blaise Matuidi, who previously urged for the support of all of France in the first leg, addressed the media. Speaking at a press conference, Matuidi acknowledged Chelsea’s prowess, stating, “It’s a great team that doesn’t lose often. Chelsea will aim to press us from the start. We must maintain focus on our game. We possess the qualities to control possession and pose problems for them.”
Matuidi is acutely aware of the consequences, with no room for error. He mentioned the potential repercussions of a yellow card, which would result in his suspension for the semi-finals. However, he emphasized, “There is a significant match to be played, and we must put that aside. I won’t dwell on it; instead, I will concentrate on helping the team secure qualification for the semi-finals.”
