Several European clubs are closely monitoring the progress of Moroccan international Hamza Mendil with his current team, Royal Excel Mouscron, in Belgian football, with the intention of acquiring him in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Sources close to the Moroccan player revealed to “Hesport” that Mendil has received numerous offers from clubs interested in securing his services for the next season.
These sources emphasized that Mendil, who plays as a left-back, is considering the offers presented to him, highlighting that the Moroccan international will make a decision about his future once he is convinced by the appropriate offer.
Mendil has been delivering impressive performances with Royal Excel Mouscron, scoring three goals this season, in addition to his contributions to several others, earning high ratings in numerous matches.
Royal Excel Mouscron, the Belgian club, signed the Moroccan defender Hamza Mendil (24 years old) in 2022, where he penned a contract for three seasons.
It is worth noting that Mendil has already participated in 20 matches with the Moroccan national team. He began his career at the Mohammed VI Academy for Football in Morocco before being recruited by Lille OSC in France in 2016.
He joined the renowned Lille academy and worked his way up to the first team through the Lille “B” team, playing 31 matches in the French league before moving to the German club Schalke 04 in 2018.
