The board of directors of Al-Masry Al-Borsaidi Club is awaiting a resolution to the broadcasting crisis ahead of the team’s match against Zed.
The Egyptian Premier League Al-Masry is set to face Zed next Tuesday as part of the 16th round of the league.
Ragab Abdel Kader, the vice president of Al-Masry, stated via the club’s official account: “We have already begun contacting all relevant parties, represented by the United Sports Company, the Egyptian Professional Football Clubs Association, and the Football Association, in order to find a solution to broadcast Al-Masry’s upcoming match against Zed.”
He added, “The match is scheduled to take place at 9:30 PM next Tuesday (the second day of the blessed month of Ramadan), coinciding with the matches of El Gouna vs. Zamalek and National Bank vs. Al-Ahly.”
Abdel Kader emphasized, “We await the outcome of these intensive communications, aimed at preserving the right of Al-Masry’s fans to watch their team’s match live, especially after the team’s remarkable performances, which propelled them to the top of the league standings.”
He concluded, “The board of directors of Al-Masry Club trusts the wisdom of the relevant authorities to respond to the desires of Al-Masry’s fans and their legitimate right to watch their team’s match live on any of the channels affiliated with the United Sports Company, which deserves everyone’s appreciation and respect, in order to avoid causing turmoil in the streets of Port Said.”
Al-Masry currently shares the top spot in the league standings with Enppi, both accumulating 26 points.
Enppi gathered 26 points from 15 matches, while Al-Masry has played only 13 matches.
