He has joined the team’s accommodation at a hotel in preparation for the upcoming match against Zamalek in the Egyptian Cup final.
El Shenawy’s presence at the team hotel underscores his commitment to supporting his fellow players ahead of the crucial encounter scheduled to take place tomorrow evening at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Despite being sidelined due to a shoulder injury sustained while representing the Egyptian national team during the recent Africa Cup of Nations, El Shenawy’s determination to stand by his team during this crucial fixture remains unwavering.
During the pre-match technical meeting, it was agreed that Al Ahly would don their iconic red shirts paired with black shorts and socks, while their goalkeeper would sport an all-blue attire.
In contrast, Zamalek would be dressed entirely in white, with their goalkeeper donning a full yellow kit.
The match is set to kick off at 7:30 PM Cairo time, with the possibility of extra time and penalties in case of a draw at the end of regulation time.
