Former Arsenal legend Ian Wright has criticized the signing of Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat by Manchester United on loan from Fiorentina during the recent summer transfer window.
Wright remarked, “I still don’t understand the approach and the combination that Ten Hag is trying to achieve with Manchester United.
I don’t understand why he went ahead to buy Mason Mount and Anthony, and I don’t grasp the rationale behind signing Sofyan Amrabat.”
Since arriving at Old Trafford, Sofyan Amrabat has appeared in 21 matches across various competitions but has failed to deliver the expected performances, with no goals or decisive passes made in the current season.
