Three members of the Al Ahly board, Khaled Mortagy, the treasurer and acting vice president, Hossam Ghaly, the assistant supervisor of football, and Dr. Mohamed Shawky, have confirmed their presence accompanying the team’s delegation to Saudi Arabia.
The Al Ahly delegation is set to depart for Saudi Arabia tomorrow morning, Wednesday, ahead of the crucial match against Zamalek scheduled for the following Friday evening.
The match between Al Ahly and Zamalek will kick off at 7:30 PM Cairo time at the Al Oula Park Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
During its recent meeting, the Al Ahly board of directors entrusted the leadership of the team’s delegation to Mohammed El Damaty, a board member.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj El Din, another board member, has opted not to travel, while Mohamed El Ghazawi is absent due to his presence in France for personal business matters.
It is expected that three other board members, Mohamed El Garhi, Tarek Kandil, and May Atef, will travel to support the team on Friday.
