The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has unveiled the nominees for the prestigious award of the Best Player in West Asia for February, as chosen by the public.
The monthly voting initiative allows fans to cast their votes for the best player in West Asia based on various criteria, notably the player’s impact on their team’s performance through goal-scoring and assisting, as well as the team’s standing in the competition, whether domestically or internationally.
Competing for the award from the Saudi Professional League are Abdulrazzaq Hamdallah from Al Ittihad, Anderson Talisca from Al Nassr, and Aleksandar Mitrović from Al Hilal.
The list also includes Ayman Ashraf from Qatar, Yazan Al-Naimat from Jordan, both recognized for their outstanding performances for their national teams during the recent Asian Cup.
Additionally, Ayman Hussein from Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya of Iraq, and Mohammed Habbous from Ansar Lebanon, have been nominated, reflecting their noteworthy contributions to their respective clubs.
Voting for the award will continue on the Asian Football Confederation’s website until Friday, March 8.
