Draws for CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup quarter-finals set for next week

The eagerly anticipated quarter-final draw for the 2023-24 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup is set to unfold on Tuesday, 12 March 2024.

Cairo, Egypt, will play host to this pivotal event, commencing with the CAF Confederation Cup draw at 14h00 Cairo time (12h00 GMT), followed by the CAF Champions League draw at 15h00 Cairo time (13h00 GMT).

The participating teams have been unveiled, emerging victorious from the intense group stage battles over the weekend.

In the CAF Champions League, powerhouses such as Al Ahly (Egypt), ASEC Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Atletico Petroleos (Angola), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Simba SC (Tanzania), Esperance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), and Young Africans (Tanzania) have secured their spots in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals will feature formidable contenders, including USM Alger (Algeria), Zamalek (Egypt), Dreams FC (Ghana), RS Berkane (Morocco), Modern Future (Egypt), Abu Salem (Libya), Rivers United (Nigeria), and Stade Malien (Mali).
