Ahmed Farouk, the Egyptian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, hosted the delegation of the Egyptian Football Association led by Jamal Al-Am, on Monday evening, on the sidelines of the Egyptian Cup match between Al Ahly and Zamalek scheduled to take place on Friday at Al Ula Park Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Egyptian Ambassador was presented with the Egyptian Cup trophy, marking the occasion of the Egyptian Cup final, and commemorative photos were taken with the cup in the presence of representatives from the Egyptian and Saudi football federations, as well as members of the Egyptian embassy.
Following the conclusion of the photo session, the Egyptian Cup was deposited at the Egyptian embassy in Saudi Arabia in preparation for its presentation to the winning team on Friday’s match between Al Ahly and Zamalek.
The highly anticipated final between the two Egyptian football giants is set to take place on Friday, March 8th, at Al Ula Park, the home ground of Al Nassr Saudi Club.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM Egypt time (Cairo), and 8:00 PM Saudi Arabia time (Mecca).
