Carlos Garrido, the coach of USM Alger, has praised his team’s achievement in securing the top spot in their group in the CAF Confederation Cup, thus advancing to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Speaking at a press conference following the match, Garrido stated, “Our primary goal is always to achieve positive results and win matches.”
He added, “Finishing the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup at the top of Group A is significant for us.”
Garrido emphasized, “Our journey in the CAF Confederation Cup has been successful so far.
We have secured four victories, one draw, and suffered only one defeat. The win against Super Sport was crucial for boosting morale after the pressure of four consecutive losses.”
