Diable Noir from Congo Brazzaville settled for a goalless draw against their visitors, Sikhohkho United from South Africa, on Sunday.
This encounter marked the sixth and final round of matches in Group D of the African Confederation Cup.
The game, hosted at the Alphonse Massamba Stadium, held little importance for both teams, as their fate had already been sealed before kickoff, with neither side progressing to the next stage of the tournament.
Diable Noir concludes their campaign at the bottom of the group with just two points, while Sikhohkho United finishes third with six points.
Having advanced from Group D to the quarter-finals are Morocco’s Renaissance Berkane and Mali’s Stade Malien.
Renaissance Berkane currently leads Group D standings with 11 points, closely followed by Stade Malien, trailing by just one point. Both teams are set to play their final group match later today.
