Following the conclusion of the match, Club Africain coach Al-Mundhir Al-Kabir hinted at his serious consideration of resigning from coaching the team after their failure to advance to the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
Addressing the media in a post-match press conference after the draw against Academica with a goal apiece, Al-Kabir expressed his disappointment, stating, “The CAF Confederation Cup is the primary goal we agreed upon.
After today’s match, I am seriously considering resigning from coaching the team.”
